What is Kerb 2 Kerb? Kerb 2 Kerb is a newly established independant driving school based in the Porthcawl area which offers novice drivers a helpful, friendly and patient learning experience to progress in their lessons. We specialise in teaching nervous drivers, helping them gain the confidence needed to travel safely on the roads. We don't just teach you to drive, we teach you a skill for life. The areas that Kerb 2 Kerb covers include Porthcawl, Bridgend areas and Port Talbot areas, for more information on the areas that we cover, click here. All our instructors are fully qualified, unlike some companies which may use trainee ADIs. We have a good pass rate and we aim to have a high standard at all times. We are competively priced ensuring you get the most for your money. We also offer a 10% discount for students, gift vouchers and block bookings. What do I need to learn to drive? Before you start learning to drive, you need to be at least 17 years of age, you need a signed provisional license and you must to be able to read an old style number plate from 20.5 metres and a new style number plate from 20 metres. There are two parts of a driving test, the first part is theory and hazard perception, the second part is the driving test, which will test your ability to drive to the set standard. For the theory test, the pass mark is 43 out of 50, the pass mark for the hazard perception portion of the test is 44 out of 75. With all block bookings, we provide free training for the theory and hazard perception. With all lessons we offer a free pick up and drop off service. If you would like to book a lesson, feel free to browse the site, check out the prices and contact us. |
